Each day will expose you to a new aspect of adventure and culture in Iceland.
From riding an Icelandic Horse in the shadow of a volcano, speeding through old lava fields on an ATV like the astronauts of the Apollo program, exploring a lava tunnel created over 5,000 years ago, or hiking up a mountain to bathe in a geothermal stream, this five-day adventure will have you telling stories for years to come!
No tents on this trip! We’ll be staying at luxurious hotels both while in Reykjavik and when we’re out in the countryside.
We’ve been leading trips to Iceland since 2013 and this trip is designed to show you some of our favorite places as well as some ‘must see’ highlights. Each day is a new adventure but we make sure you have some down time as well.
To make this experience even better we’re excited to be teaming up with Lauren Magarelli of beBhakti Yoga Center. Lauren will be offering yoga and meditation sessions throughout our journey to add a mindfulness element to this amazing adventure. No experience necessary and of course the yoga classes are optional but Imagine hiking up to bathe in a geothermal stream and then getting into ‘mountain pose’ atop a mountain!
We’ve even arranged for a few culinary adventures including fine dining in Reykjavik and dinner in a Viking Longhouse out in the countryside where you can enjoy some traditional Icelandic favorites.
