LIABILITY: THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES AND UNDERSTANDS THAT THERE ARE INHERENT RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HIKING, BACKPACKING, KAYAKING, CANOEING, OR CAMPING, INCLUDING SERIOUS BODILY INJURY OR EVEN DEATH. The customer agrees that International Adventure Guides, LLC cannot be held responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses suffered by the customer while participating in a trip organized or led by International Adventure Guides, LLC and agrees to “hold harmless” International Adventure Guides, LLC as well as any and all of its employees, or principals.
+ Cancellations
When you make a reservation we are holding a spot for you and may have to turn away other customers so if your plans change please email us to cancel your reservation as soon as possible. Because we may have to turn away other customers we must charge cancellation fees as described below:
Discounted/Sale Priced Trips: 90 days from date of purchase for any refund as long as the 90 day period does not conflict with the following:
90 days from trip start date: Full Refund
60 - 89 from trip start date: 75% Refund
30 – 59 from trip start date: 50% Refund
15-29 days from trip start date: 25% Refund
14 days or less from trip start date: No Refund
+ Guarantee
We truly want you to enjoy your adventure with us so if you feel something is unsatisfactory please let us know immediately so that we can correct the problem and provide you with a great experience. If we can’t make it right and the problem was not something beyond our control, we will decide whether to make a full or partial refund at our sole discretion. Our goal is to have you return from one of our trips as a satisfied customer. REFUND OF YOUR TRIP FEE IS THE FULL EXTENT OF OUR LIABILITY FOR OUR ADVENTURE TRAVEL TRIPS.
+ Itinerary
We reserve the right to adjust trip itineraries to accommodate weather, natural disaster, national emergency, injury to any member of the trip team including customers and/or guides, any other unforeseen or uncontrollable event. Our goal is to conduct the trip as planned and we will do all that we can to stay true to the spirit of the trip and provide a safe, fun, and rewarding adventure.
+ Disputes
All legal disputes and lawsuits must be filed in a court of appropriate jurisdiction located within Dutchess County, NY, applying the laws of NY State. Customers agree to waive the defense of forum non conveniens.
