COME EXPLORE THE HOME OF SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN, THE BIRTHPLACE OF HYGGE, AND ONE OF THE MOST BIKE FRIENDLY COUNTRIES ON THE PLANET.
Our adventure begins in Copenhagen where you’ll explore the canals, dine on world class cuisine, and join a guided bike tour of the city’s highlights. Take the time to visit one of Copenhagen’s world class museums, enjoy the thrills of one of the world’s oldest amusement parks, or shop on one of the longest pedestrian-only streets in the world.
Next we travel by train to the historic city of Aarhus which was founded in the early Viking Age and is well known for its art and architecture. We’ll visit the ARoS Art Museum, get a private bike tour of the city, walk the streets of the restoration village of Den Gamle By, and enjoy drinks at the rooftop lounge of the Salling department store.
Continuing westward we journey to the coast of Jutland and the North Sea. We’ll spend the next two days cycling on e-bikes along the coast through quaint villages and pastoral landscapes. We’ll stay in comfortable boutique hotels and have our luggage transported by van between stays. Don’t worry, we keep the mileage to between 20-30 per day so we have plenty of time to stop at the beach, chat with locals, and enjoy some great meals.
After reaching the beach resort town of Nørre Vorupør we’ll relax for the night and travel back to Copenhagen the following day for another night in the Danish capital. Some will choose to fly home the next day while others will take advantage of Copenhagen’s convenient location and add on a tour of Norway, Sweden, Germany, or The Netherlands.
This adventure is family friendly and a great way to see the beauty of this Scandinavian treasure.
